Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, I'm gonna take a look at the DeeMaxx 21 foot eight-inch-long Rubber Hydraulic Brake Line with the 3/16 inch brass male inverted flares. Now, this brake line will act as part of a hydraulic brake system. Does require additional lines and fittings that we do sell separately. Now, this line here is typically as a main line. It runs down the center of the trailer.
The hose length we mentioned is 260 inches, which translates into 21 feet eight inches. This is a flexible construction, so it's perfect for foldaway trailer tongues, disc brakes, and torsion axles, and we mentioned the ends, they have the brass male inverted flare fittings on both ends. The fitting size is 3/16 of an inch. The thread size on 'em is 3/8 inch by 24. Now, these brass ends make better seal than the steel fittings because the brass is more pliable.
This does help prevent leaks, splits and corrosion. The rubber hose itself does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation and SAE standards, and the inner diameter on this hose is 1/8 of an inch. But that should do it for a look at the DeeMaxx 21 foot eight-inch-long Rubber Hydraulic Brake Line with the 3/16 inch brass male inverted flares.
