Get constant not connected warning when attempting to connect 2021 3121rl keystone montana to new 2022 ram 3500 longhorn with factory brake controller set to heavy electric over hydraulic. Trailer is legacy with dexter disc brakes. Worked previously with prodigy controller on 2005 f350.

We have seen this issue on a few newer Ram trucks with the OEM brake controller. Adding the Adapter Module for BrakeRite Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator # DX35FR to your 2022 Ram 3500 will fix the issue, allowing your truck to detect the trailer and work as intended.
