Can I Install Different Crossbars On My 2018 Subaru Outback With Factory Roof Rack?

Hey Ive got a 2018 Subaru outback with the factory roof rack the one with the built in crossbars. Will this system fit on that?

The Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 47" # TH711220 that you were looking at are for the 2018 Subaru Outback (non touring model) with flush roof rails running front to back on the roof. These crossbars require Podium Feet # TH460R and Fit Kit # THKIT4063 to install onto the flush rails. Since you have the factory roof rack, this likely will not work unless your roof has the fixed mounting points as seen in the attached demonstration video.

If you have the factory raised rails running front to back (not flush rails) then you may be able to attach Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack - 58" # MPG216. I also attached a demonstration video to show you what this setup looks like.

It is difficult to say for sure which setup may or may not work for you without seeing a photo of your factory roof rack; some roof racks do not allow installation of aftermarket crossbars. If you can provide a photo of your roof then I will be happy to help furthermore.
