The integrated factory trailer brake controllers (ITBC) in most newer trucks are electric over hydraulic (EOH) compatible. Therefore you should be able to use one like the Titan BrakeRite EHB Electric-Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes on a 2020 Ford without issue. That said, it would be better to install the Adapter Module part # DX35FR in-line to ensure smooth operation. This will ensure 100% compatibility.
