Question:

The web searches bring up Curt C31016 but it is only shown fitting vans up to 2004, for 2017 it says not confirmed to fit. Do you know whether it will fit or know of another front hitch I need to carry some bikes. thanks

I may have another option for you, but the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31016 you were looking at is only confirmed to fit the select 2000-2004 RVs built on the Chevrolet Express Van Chassis and will not fit your 2017 Chevrolet Express Van RV. At this time there is not a custom fit hitch confirmed to fit.

Instead you may be able to have a local fabrication shop and a universal hitch like the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver - Weld On - Class V - 2" # 41990-07 to the front of your Express Van RV to allow you to carry your bikes.

The # 41990-07 fits frames that are up to 44" wide, so as long as your frame is not wider than 44" there is a decent chance it can be made to work.

I included a picture of the # 41990-07 being used as a front mount trailer hitch receiver on a different van for you to take a look at.
