Question:
Will this hold my new EBike and another standard bike? The battery can be removed. If not, what would you recommend. I have a 2018 Buick Encore. I just purchased my bike rack last year and have been very happy with it. When I purchased it I had a 2008 Subaru Forester. I checked to see if this would fit on my Encore and it states that it is a fit. I do not have a hitch on this vehicle. Thank you.

The Thule Passage 2 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount # TH910XT is indeed a fit for your 2018 Buick Encore. Now, trunk bike racks are typically not suitable for electric bikes due to the excess weight that electric bikes have. It looks like your Aventon Pace 350 weighs about 46lbs which is fairly light for an ebike. The weight capacity of the Thule Passage is 35lbs per bike, so you could try removing the battery and anything else that is easily removeable to meet the weight capacity of 35lbs. Keep in mind you will need to use an adapter bar such as # HRBA-PRO when securing your ebike since it is a step-thru style.
Your other option is to install a trailer hitch receiver, which is the preferred method for transporting electric bikes anyways. I recommend going with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11527. This offers a simple installation process as seen in the video I attached. Then you can add a bike rack such as Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # SA4412B which has a weight capacity of 60lbs per bike. It does not require an adapter bar as it simply attaches to the frame of your ebike. I attached demonstration videos for you to check out.
