Question:
I do not go near salt water nor do I tow on salted roads. That said, my trailering is not immune to thrown road pebbles, debris etc. How durable is the finish on this rims? I really dont want to spend $400 on these to have them looking terrible after 3-4 years. If I wanted that, Id buy painted steel wheels which are guaranteed to peel. Thanks in advance for your reply!

The Aluminum Viking Series Vor Trailer Wheel - 15" x 5" - 5 on 4-1/2 - Silver # AX02550545FPS has a silver painted and clear coated finish which is pretty resistant to rocks and debris like you mentioned, but is not the toughest finish.
You would be better suited with a powder coated wheel like the Dexstar Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel - 15" x 5" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 - Black Powder Coat # AM20440, White Powder Coat # AM20551, or Silver Powder Coat # AM20436. Powder coating is actually baked on to the wheel and offers a much stronger bond than spray on paint meaning it will hold up a lot better over time. All of the wheels mentioned still have the 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern you were looking at.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
