For a set of self-adjusting brake assemblies that fit your 5,200 lb axles that have 12 x 2 inch drums you'd want the part # AKEBRK-7-SA and you'd be set.

Question:

If I change the brakes will I have to change the seals? Please help with correct seals.

1

Helpful Expert Reply:

If you were to change just the brake assemblies you would not need to replace the seal as it would not get damaged or need to be removed. The hub/drum would slide off as a whole assembly and then the brake assembly plate would be accessed from there to replace it. Then the hub/drum would slide right back on.

If you were to also replace the hub/drum like mentioned in previous questions those actually come with replacement seals so if you were to go that route you'd have them already and not need to get them separately.

Question:

Would it be the same part number just a different cap if I have the EZ lub spindles?

1

Helpful Expert Reply:

Yes you could swap out just the caps and that's all you'd need for it to be an EZ lube setup. For that part # RG04-080.

What wire gauge do you recommend for this 30ft trailer?

You'd want to use 10 gauge like part # 10-1-1 which we sell by the foot.
