Question:

I want to install a hitch so that I can haul a motorcycle. I see the hitch however I would want the full package so that I could also pull a trailer if needed. You pic also shows a cadillac SRX with a ball attachment.

The Curt # C13002 Class III hitch you'd looked at would be a great choice. The hitch offers a 500 lb tongue weight capacity, so as long as the weight of the bike and the carrier you use, such as # e98873 doesn't exceed the tongue weight capacity of the hitch or that of the vehicle itself, the hitch would work well for you.

For trailer wiring, you'd use # C59496 if the vehicle isn't set up with the factory tow package or # 118259 if it DOES have the tow package. If you're not sure, a GM dealer will be able to tell you how the vehicle was equipped if you provide the VIN. You'll also need a # AMSC2 ball mount and # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch ball or
# 63845 for a 2 inch ball.
