Will the Trailer Hitch for a 2018 Nissan Rogue Work With Hands Free Liftgate

Question:
Hello, I’m looking for a trailer hitch for a 2018 Nissan Rogue SL. My Rogue has the automatic tailgate lift so I’m hesitant to add the hitch thinking it might interfere with the auto tailgate feature. Have you run into issues with this being a problem? Thank you!

The trailer hitch I recommend for a 2018 Nissan Rogue is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98846. It features a bolt-on fit with no drilling required. It also has a hidden design so only the receiver tube will be shown. In regards to the hands free liftgate feature, this will still be operable you'd just need to place you foot on either either of the hitch. It obviously won't work if you were to place your foot directly under the hitch tube but aside from that no issues.
