I would be happy to recommend new braking components for your trailer but you will need to confirm the axle rating of your axles and which inner and outer bearings your spindle uses.
The easiest way to determine which inner and outer bearing your spindle uses is to remove one hub and look for the bearing number stamped in the face of each bearing as shown in the included picture of the # L44649.
If your bearings are worn to the point that you cannot read the bearing number you will need to use digital calipers like # PTW80157 to precisely measure your spindle according to the included diagram.
Since you mentioned that you axle tube is 3" your axle is more than likely in the 5200-7000lb range, but you will want to confirm this by looking at the axle rating on the axle tag. If the tag is not readable you can use the GVWR of your trailer to find the axle rating.
If your axle is in the 5200-7000lb range I recommend the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-6 which will bolt directly to your 5 bolt brake flange. If your current mounting hardware is needing to be replaced you can use the # BRKH12.
If you can email me back with what inner and outer bearings your spindles use I would be happy to recommend the correct hub and drum assemblies for you.
I included a video of the # AKEBRK-6 being installed for you to take a look at .
