The way the fit guide is set up if you do not select your vehicle style from the pull down menu then it shows everything that fits all 2013 Ford Escapes. Some hitches fit S models AND other models so you are seeing the duplicate results because you have not selected S models or except S models. I have included a link to the installation instructions and a video showing a typical installation for you to view for hitch # 36524.
If you are planning on doing some towing the recommended ball mount is # 36071 and you can use pin and clip # PC2. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. For trailer wiring use # 118566. I have linked a video and isntructions for the wiring as well.
