Recommended Suspension Enhancement For 2021 Toyota Tacoma 2WD Towing 5000lb Camper Trailer

Question:
I cant decide which suspension system to choose either the SumoSprings or the Timbren. The vehicle is a 2021 Toyota Tacoma, 6-cyl, 2WD, 1,200# Payload, 6,700# Towing Capacity. It will be towing a camping trailer of 5,000# GVWR and tongue wt. est. of 500# incl. WDH. Which suspension would be the better fit? Thank you.

For your 2021 Toyota Tacoma 2WD I recommend the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-612-47 as it has a 1000lb capacity which will work perfect for towing your 5000lb camper, and will still have enough capacity to support even adding cargo to the bed.
At this time we do not have a Timbren option that will work with the 2WD version of your truck, but don't feel like you are missing out. The SumoSprings # SSR-612-47 will ride quite a bit better when you are unloaded compared to the notoriously harsh unloaded ride with the Timbrens.
