Will 18" Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Shank Allow For Tailgate To Be Down When Towing

Question:

HEllo! I am looking at purchasing: EQ90-02-4600 to keep my tailgate down while towing my travel trailer. Will this 18 shank provide enough room for turning with camper in tow and tail gate down? 2017 nissan titan xd pro4x 2019 jayco jayflight 29bhdb. Thank You!

We have had customers let us know that using the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank # EQ90-02-4600 has allowed them to tow their trailers with their tailgates down as shown in the included pictures so you should have no issues even when turning. Keep in mind you will want to use the shank in the drop position as using it in the rise position may cause interference.
