ONCE THE HITCH IS INSTALLED FOR THE NEW 2021 ROGUE, WILL IT DISRUPT ANY OF THE DISTANCE SENSORS OR AUTOMATIC LIFTGATE SENSOR?

I reached out to my contact at Curt Manufacturing about the Curt # C24HR hitch for the 2021 Nissan Rogue and what possible issues there may be with the operation of the liftgate sensor or the rear distance sensors. They told me that those Rogue systems should work as expected. They have not had any consumer reported problems. The hitch is further inside of the sensors so they would not be blocked by the hitch structure. Regarding the liftgate sensor, users can expect to find "the sweet spot" just left of the receiver opening. I did see a Curt internal video where the liftgate was operated by an installer on a 2021 Rogue by putting the foot just left of the receiver.
