Question:
I have a 2016 Grand Design Reflection 29RS 5th wheel. The axles are 4400 LB rated and I need to replace the springs with something that has a little extra capacity, the stock springs have broken and are all flat. Which springs do you recommend?

For your 2016 Grand Design Reflection 29RS, we have two possibilities for replacement springs that work for 4400-lb axles.
You need to measure from the center of one eye of the leaf spring to the center of the other to get the proper length. However, since yours are flat, they have stretched quite a bit. So, an accurate measurement will be difficult. More than likely, you will need the 26"-long 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,500-lb Trailer Axles, part # e27SR I've linked to a video review of these springs.
There are some cases where the more accurate length is 25-1/4" long, you will need the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 5,000-lb Trailer Axles, part # e44SR. Again, you more than likely will need the 26"-long ones from above, but I've linked to a video review of this one as well, just in case.
Many times, when replacing leaf springs, the U-bolts are rusted and need to be cut off. If you end up needing to replace these, the 4400-lb axles tend to have 3" diameters, so a replacement U-bolt kit you can use is the CE Smith U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 5.2K to 7K, Round Trailer Axles, part # CE23003. I've linked to a video review of this, too.
