I have a question on setting up a system to charge the batteries in our enclosed trailer while its hooked to the truck.

In regards to charging a battery/batteries in an enclosed trailer, the best way is to use DC current from the tow vehicle with a device like the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger part # RED96FR.
