Question:

Is there any drilling involved to mount brackets for the bags? I realize you will drill holes for air lines. Bracket mounting is unclear to me. Is there an installation video for this part number? Thank you

Yes. There is drilling required to install the AirLift # AL57340 on your 2005 Ford Excursion, but if you're looking for an installation that doesn't require drilling then I recommend using the AirLift # AL88154. These air bags will mount using existing holes in your vehicle's frame, so they're much easier to install. I actually like these particular bags a bit more since they've got an internal jounce bumper that helps protect the bags if they're ever not quite inflated enough and provides you with an additional layer of suspension support. These bags have the same capacity as the # AL57340, so they're a great choice to substitute and get yourself an easier installation.

If you don't have an on-board compressor system, the Air Lift Load Controller Compressor System for Air Helper Springs- Heavy Duty - Dual Path # AL25856 provides you with a great solution to avoid trips to the gas station each time you need to fill up the bags. This system comes with manual gauges and allows you to inflate each of your air bags individually from the comfort of your vehicle.
