Question:
I am looking at getting the road armor shock absorbing equalizing kit and want to make sure the dimensions will work with what I have. The distance from center to center on my original equalizer is 5 3/4 inched. The height is 2 inches. Will this work?

We have what you need.
The Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit, part # LC696740, is not it, though. This kit has measurements of 6" between the side holes and 3-1/2" high, which are too far off from your original equalizer's measurements to work well.
Instead, I recommend the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit, part # K71-652-00. They measure 5-5/8" across and 2" tall, making them almost an exact match for your current equalizer. The 1/8" difference across is perfectly acceptable. I've linked to a video installation of this kit for your reference.
Keep in mind that though these state they are for 6000-pound axles, that has more to do with the axle capacity that equalizers of this size are typically associated with. Your axles don't have to have a capacity exactly at 6000 pounds.
