How Far Does the Receiver Tube Stick Out On the Buyers Products Hitch Plate for Ford

Question:

I have a 2001 f450 cab and chassis, looking to see how far out the hitch receiver sticks out from hitch place with an under tailgate salter I need it shorter so it doesn’t hit the salter? And do you have a hardware kit that comes with this unit? Or mounting instructions?

I had the Buyers Products Hitch Plate with 2-1/2" Receiver Tube part # 3371809061A measured for you and the receiver tube sticks out 3-1/2" from the face of the plate.
