Question:

I have a light duty trailex trailer for a small boat. model SUT-500-s. I now have a jeep 2019 grand cherokee. The trailer is light duty. the trailer has a one an seven eighth inch ball. What would be the hitch I would need to purchase, as well as a wiring harness. the whole lighting system with the trailex did not function with my previous car, a subaru. Id like to self install. thanks so much

For your 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee the Draw Tite hitch part # 75699 is a really great option that I would recommend highly as it has a mostly hidden design, installs easily, and has great towing capacities. I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well.

Then for trailer wiring you'd want the Tekonsha kit part # 118727 which installs easily and has a very reliable converter box.

Then for a ball mount the part # C45030 would work great with the hitch ball # C40002 and you'd be set.
