Can the Hopkins Smartvue be wired into the Furion pre-wire that is on the Grand Design?

I'm sorry but the Furrion systems and the Hopkins systems are not compatible with each other. The most cost effective solution I have is the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision part # FOS43TASF if you want to use that particular base.

You do have the option of not using the Furrion base and the power from the marker lights instead and still be able to use the Hopkins VueSMART RV and Trailer Backup Camera part # HM34FR and view it through your smart phone.

Since your trailer has the bracket #FRCBRKT-BL that would mean your trailer has the Furrion pre-wiring which is very common for newer RVs. The part #FOS43TASF is a fit for this and would be a really easy install. This gives you a monitor with a 4.3…

Hey Bill, yes the Furrion Vision S+ #FR64AD would be a direct replacement for your current Vision S system. None of it is backwards compatible with the standard Vision S system though.
