Question:
I can’t seem to find a clear answer for this fitment. I have a 2020 Silverado. I have found the base plate on your site model # RM-523199-5 and I am looking at the tow bar assembly model # RM-676. Will this tow bar work with the above base plate with the removable attachments. Thanks Leo

The two parts you mentioned are absolutely compatible - the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar with LED Lights # RM-676 will work superbly with the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-523199-5 that fits your 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500.
The Nighthawk tow bar will attach directly to the arms of the EZ5 base plates on your Silverado 1500 without any type of adapter or other part needed. You have made really good choices for your truck, because the EZ5 base plates have removable arms so your Silverado is going to keep its clean look when you aren't flat towing, and the Nighthawk tow bar is extremely easy to use and has long arms which make it easier to maneuver when towing.
Along with the Nighthawk Tow Bar # RM-676 and Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-523199-5, there are a couple of other parts you'll need to flat tow your 2020 Silverado 1500, and I'll make a list of the best options for you.
- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-152
Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect # RM-766
- Supplemental Braking System: Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # DM86VR
OR
- For a motorhome with air brakes: Demco SBS Air Force One Supplemental Braking System # DM26VR
I also recommend the Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screening # RM-4750 to keep rocks and other debris from hitting your Silverado while you are flat towing it. You may also need a high-low adapter such as # RM-070 in order to keep your tow bar level, and I've added a link to a help article which shows you how to determine if you need an adapter, as well as a link to our selection of adapters.
Additionally, I have added links below to instruction manuals, video reviews and installations for you to take a look at.
