Replacement Cable for Valterra RV Waste Valve

Question:

I had a incident with a Black Valve sticking open on my 2018 Coachmen Freedom Express Liberty Edition 281DSRL. I opened the bottom covering and found a bent cable. I have been able to repair this, but I am trying to find a replacement part. I cant read the part number but it is a Valterra 3 valve with 1 1/2 body and a 36 cable. No one seems to have this. I went on the Valterra site and under OEM parts there is one with a SKU of H40H36. Is this a part you can obtain for me?

Hey Bladen, is it possible to use a slightly longer cable? We don't have 36 inch but we do have a 48 cable for a Valterra valve with the part # VAL64GB.

Hey Bladen, did the 48-inch Valterra cable end up working for your waste valve repair? Knowing how that fit turned out could really help others dealing with the same valve setup.

Hi Jameson C., I do believe that your recommendation would work based on previous information I gave you. However, since my first communication, I realize that in my valve is leaking slightly and I need to replace the valve and the cable. Do you have a full part number for a 48” cable and 3 inch valve combination?

The previous valve was a Valterra and this one is a La Salle. To be complete in my questioning, is there any concern, switching manufacturers? I assume no, because the drains are a standard side,
