It sounds like you are trying to add a 7-way trailer connector to a 2021 Volkswagen Atlas and if that's the case we have some great options. That said, you'll have to start with a 4-way, the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118754 is plug-in-play and I confirmed fit for you. This can then be adapted to a 7-way, the 4 to 7-Way with 4-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. It comes with a mounting bracket as well but I'm not sure of what bracket you have on the vehicle now.
