Question:
Hi thanks for the great customer service. Im trying to make my car as low profile as possible as leave my ski racks on all winter. 1. Can this T chanel mount kit be used on the Kuat Switch? 2. Can you use the T mount kit without any spacer or have to at least use the smallest spacer? 3. What is the width of the Switch when folded over without the bracket. Thanks!

The T-Channel Mount Kit for the Kuat Grip, part # GRDMK, is not compatible with the Kuat Switch, part # KU44FR. The swivel of the Switch make it so it cannot be replaced. I've linked to a video review of this carrier for you to see how it works.
The width of the Switch without the bracket is 4-3/4".
If you decided to go with the Kuat Grip, part # GRR4B, and also use the T-Channel Kit, then yes, at minimum the smallest spacer would have to be used.
