Detail K2 Snow Plow Upgrade from Winch to Actuator

Question:

Hello, I recently purchased the Detail k2 summit II plow, With the Electric winch via my business debt account. I noticed after I had already purchased and received and installed my plow, That the winch is something I am just not confident with. I notice that you do sell the Dk2 actuator kit. An it looks like I would be able to convert the summit II over from winch. I just wanted to ask before I make the purchase to upgrade. Is their any known issues with doing this, before I'm out a lot of money. Thank you. Nissan Titan xe 5.4 v8 4x4 Big tow Upgraded Transmission, upgraded Rear end gear. 3 in lift kit on noise, 2 in lift kit on rear. Dk2 Summit II plow, Weight at noise 306. Fisher Quick Cast Salt machine on rear. Xtra 200 pounds guess when full 420 pound Ballast weight on rear end on Rear axle of truck.

I contacted DK2 and they were able to confirm that the Actuator Kit # K2ACT8020 will work to replace the winch on your Summit II Snow Plow. This kit comes with everything you need to install the actuator.
