I spoke with my contact at Curt and was able to get an installed picture of front mount hitch # 31514. I have included it for you. Also, according to Curt the hitch measures just under 12 inches from the ground up to the center of the hitch pin hole. I have also included a link to the instructions for you.

There is no welding or drilling required to install the Curt Hitch part #31514, all you need is access to basic tools. If you have any amount of mechanical skills you should have no problem installing this hitch on your 2005 Nissan Xterra. To see…
