When you’re not carrying bikes or cargo, you don’t want a hitch hanging off the back of your vehicle. This Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver keeps everything tucked away for a clean, factory look. The cross tube sits behind the bumper, and the 2" receiver removes completely with no tools. You can pop it out when you’re done, cover the opening with the included hitch plug, and your vehicle looks untouched.

Getting ready to load up is fast with this bolt-on receiver. The detachable design latches into a stainless steel block at the center of the hitch—just push it in until it clicks, then press the side lock for a snug fit. When you’re finished, unlock it, turn the handle, and pull it out. It’s built to handle hitch-mounted racks and carriers with a maximum tongue weight of 350 lbs, so you can bring your bikes or extra gear without hassle.

This hitch is made from durable stainless steel that resists corrosion and stays strong over time. The tight connection between the receiver and latch block keeps things from rattling while you drive. It meets SAE J684 safety regulations and keeps your ground clearance intact. No drilling or welding is needed—just a simple bolt-on install using existing connection points that protect your vehicle’s crumple zones.
If you decide later that you want to tow a small trailer instead of just carrying gear, you can add the Stealth Hitches towing kit (391CONVOC5, sold separately). That setup replaces the rack receiver with a ball mount rated for up to 3,500 lbs gross trailer weight. It’s an easy way to expand what your hitch can do without changing the hidden design you already like.
Ratings & Reviews
The stealth trailer has been really a pleasure to use. A+ build quality, fairly easy to install if you watch a couple of videos and have the proper tools. The package is as described and it’s there when you need it and gone and out of sight when you don’t. Worth every Penny.
Love the hitch! Had a problem with the rubber protective plug falling out of the stainless block in sub zero temperature. Fortunately, it fell out while parked in my driveway, so I didn’t lose it. Otherwise, I am very happy with this premium hitch.
