Is There a Lighting Kit for the Yakima OnRamp LX Bike Rack?

Question:

I have got some conflicting information not from you whether or not the Yakima SafetyMate Lighting and Plate Kit will work with the Yakima OnRamp LX bike carrier. From the pictures of the Safety Mate it looks like it might be compatible. Do you happen to know if the Safety Mate will attach to the OnRamp LX? Thanks for your help.

Hey Paul! Yakima's SafetyMate (Lighting & Plate Kit) is our License Plate and Tail Light Kit for Yakima StageTwo Bike Rack item # Y59VR and it is not designed to work with the Yakima OnRamp LX Bike Rack item # Y88DJ. It's made for their StageTwo Bike Racks like item # Y53QD. It's not going to work with the OnRamp LX item # Y88DJ.

There is not an option for a custom fit lighting and license plate kit for the OnRamp LX item # Y88DJ. You would have to modify a different kit like the License Plate and Tail Light Relocation Kit item # Y74VR or go with the Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator Lights item # C53201, which does not have a license plate bracket.
