Trailer Hitch for 2020 Toyota Prius to Carry Thule T2 Bike Rack

I have a friend that has a Thule T2 Pro XT Hitch Rack - 2 Bike and the fit is for a 2inch hitch. We were going to share the Thule Bike rack. When I go online the 2inch hitch that you offer it says that it has not been verified to fit a Prius 2020. The one hitch that you say works with a Prius is a 1 1/4inch hitch. That wont work with the bike rack that my friend has. Why is the hitch that works on other Priuss not workable with the 2020? Is there still a way to make the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4inch Item # C11473 work flawlessly with the Thule T2 Pro XT Hitch Rack? If not, that means I have to spend another $500-600 on a bike rack that I really like. The Thule T2 Pro XT rack works just great.

The 2 inch hitch size is typically only seen on larger vehicles like SUVs and trucks and the 1-1/4 inch size is most common on lighter duty vehicles like your 2020 Toyota Prius. What that means is that the only solution is a hitch like the Draw Tite # 24966 and then use the 1-1/4 inch version of the Thule T2 # TH23JV.
