I have 99 f 250 super duty 285 75 16. Tires need tire chains 2 pair what are the best chains for this truck

If you are purchasing the chains for emergency use only, and they will sit in your tool box more often than not, an inexpensive set of chains like the Glacier Chains # PWH2228SC would be a good choice. The chains are constructed of low-carbon steel and offer a 90 day warranty.

If you consistently find yourself in situations where chains are needed, you would want something more durable like the Pewag # PWE2228S. These chains are constructed of corrosion-resistant nickel manganese alloy steel and are reversible for long wear. These chains also carry a 90 day warranty, but you could expect longer life due to the higher quality material they are constructed of.

Both sets of chains would benefit from using the optional rubber adjusters, part # PW99.
