What Wires on 7-Way Need to be Connected to use Curt Echo Brake Controller

Question:

Hello I have a 7 pin plug that plugs into the existing 4 pin harness on my Titan. When I plug my trailer into it I have turn signals and brake lights When plugged in. I do not have the electric brake blue wire auxiliary power black wire and reverse purple wire ran they are simply tied off. Would these need to be connected to use the curt echo? Thank you.

That's a good question, and in order to use the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller # C51180, it requires simply the 12 volt, ground, and turn signals be connected to the 7-way on your truck. So you will need the 12 volt connected that you currently have tied off.
