Will this replace a regular 1157 brake, taillight, turn signal bulb?

According to ARC, the manufacturer, their # ARC93FR LED bulb is the proper replacement for a dual filament 1157 taillight bulb which provides the turn signal, taillight and brake lamp.

So, arc93fr should be fine, but I see yet are white light. Some people say red is better. My camper taillight lense is nearly all red except for a small clear portion on the bottom for the license plate. Is it better to get red instead of white? Thank you.
