Features to know about

Reliable Lighting for Every Trip: 5-Function Tail and License Plate Light

This Peterson rectangular tail light does it all in one durable package. At 8-13/16" long by 5-1/16" tall, it provides stop, turn, tail, rear reflex, and license plate lighting in a single housing. The built-in rear reflex reflector means no separate reflective lens is needed. It uses a standard 1157 incandescent bulb that’s easy to replace and draws 2.2 amps at 12.8V. You get dependable illumination that meets DOT requirements while keeping your trailer visible and compliant.

Built to Last: Corrosion-Resistant Construction

Moisture and road grime can ruin ordinary sockets, but this light is designed to hold up over time. The corrosion-resistant socket protects the electrical connection so you don’t have to worry about flickering or failed contacts. Combined with the tough polycarbonate housing and polar white base, it’s made to stay solid and reliable through years of use.

Simple Surface Mount: Straightforward Installation

No deep cutouts or complicated brackets needed. This light is a surface-mount design that lays flat against your trailer using common mounting hardware (not included). Just pop off the red lens to access the four mounting holes on the base, run your wiring through a small hole, and bolt it down. The 2-wire setup grounds through the mounting hardware, keeping things tidy and easy.

Clean Fit with License Plate Bracket: Driver-Side Ready

This driver-side light includes an integrated license plate bracket with 7" center-to-center holes for secure plate mounting. The clear lens over the license area keeps your plate illuminated at night without needing an extra fixture. For a matching look, the passenger side companion light is available separately as part # V457.

This product does NOT come with a pigtail to wire in the ground (-). The pigtails for turn and tail are fine.

Works great after a year with no issues.

by:

Nice light. Replaces an original that had the license tabs broken off. Got it installed before the cold weather hit today. Well packaged by E trailer.

by:

Identical to what was on my 21 year old Nomad. One of the license plate brackets had broken off of it. Fixed it right up!

by:

I am so happy because I found the exact tail light for my camper that I needed. I couldn't find this exact one anywhere Intel I looked here. And it came just in time for my camping trip.

by:

After 22 years the license plate tabs broke off of my 1998 Aljo trailer. Didn't know if I would find the identical left side light to match the unbroken right side but etrailer had it in stock for a very reasonable price and prompt shipping. Will install today and will be good for another 20 years!

  • Replacement for Discontinued Bargman 30-91-010 and 30-91-011 Tail Lights
Hello again John; when First Brands took over as the parent company for Bargman they discontinued most of their lights. That includes the direct replacement for the 30-91-010 and 30-91-011. Typically we recommend the the Peterson Trailer Tail Light # V457 and # V457L to replace these. However, they do not have a backup light function. The next best thing is the Optronics LED RV Tail Light # OPT34KB and # OPT54KB. These have a smaller profile at 8" long x 4" tall x 1-1/2" deep and have...

  • Looking for Replacement Taillights for 2012 Coachman Apex
Hey George, I tried to look up what the rear of a 2012 Coachman Apex looks like and I found a couple decent pictures and it looks like the taillight style is the part # V457L that you referenced for the driver side and part # V457 for the passenger side. If what you have looks different email me a picture of what you have and I'll see what you'd need.

  • How to Determine Correct Replacement Tail Lights For 2021 Forest River Vengeance Rogue 26VKS
Hi Bonnie, While we don't know specifically what tail light is on any one trailer, I can help point you in the right direction for tail lights on your 2021 Forest River Vengeance Rogue 26VKS. It's pretty simple though as all you have to do is measure your current tail lights and find the one that most closely matches your measurement. For lights that have a license plate bracket there are a couple options, one being the Low Profile LED RV Tail Light w/ License Bracket # RVSTLB61. This...

Hey Richard, thanks for the picture! To replace the tail lights on your 2003 Forest River 25LE you'll want the following parts: Peterson Combination Trailer Tail Light item # V457 Peterson Trailer Tail Light w/ License Bracket item # V457L These LED lights measure 8-13/16" long x 5-1/16" tall x 2-3/4" thick.

  • Replacement Tail Light Recommendation for Bargman 92 Series Tail Lights
Hey Kolt, thanks for reaching out! The 92 Series Bargman tail lights were discontinued a few years ago so you'll need to use a different tail light and for that I recommend the Peterson brand: - Driver Side - # V457L - Passenger Side # V457 These are a little larger at 8-13/16" long x 5-1/16" tall x 2-3/4" thick, but they look similar enough that your camper will look the same.

  • How Far Apart are the Mounting Holes on the Peterson Trailer Tail Light w/ License Bracket V457L
Hey Paul, from left to right the mounting holes of the Petersen Light part # V457L is 7-3/4 inches. From top to bottom it is right at 3 inches. Would that work for your trailer? The license plate bracket mounting holes are separated by 7 inches.

  • Are There Replacement Tail Light Lenses For 2013 Aliner Sport
Hi William, I believe what your 2013 Aliner Sport has are discontinued Bargman tail lights, so we don't have a replacement lens option. The best we can offer are replacement lights, the Peterson Trailer Tail Light w/ License Bracket - Driver Side # V457L and/or Peterson Combination Trailer Tail Light - Passenger Side # V457. These measure 8-13/16" long x 5-1/16" tall x 2-3/4" thick so should be very close to the size or your current lights but you'll want to take a quick measurement to...

I am unable to find a lens replacement or the exact tail light replacement for your 1988 Jayco J-Series 1008 DD pop up camper. My recommendation is to replace the light with the Peterson Combination Trailer Tail Light - 4 Function - White Base - Red Lens - Passenger Side # V457 and if you want the license plate mount # V457L. If you don't want the plate mount and just want the matching set the # V457 will work for both sides.

  • Replacement Trailer Tail Light Recommendations for Bargman 94 Series Lights
It looks like this light series has been discontinued so your best bet is to replace the entire assembly on either side of your trailer - you'll just have to remove the current rivets and install new rivets with new light assemblies and for that I recommend the following from Peterson: - Driver Side # V457L - Passenger Side # V457 These lights measure 8-13/16" long x 5-1/16" tall x 2-3/4" thick so they'll be a little larger than what you currently have which will be a good solution...

  • Replacement Trailer Taillight Lens For a 1989 Jayco 809 Deluxe Pop Up Camper
The Peterson Combination Trailer Tail Light # V457 and V457L are going to be some of the closest lights to your original tail lights on your 1989 Jayco 809 Deluxe. These surface mount lights are 8-13/16" wide x 5-1/16" tall. The drivers side light base includes the mounting tabs for the license plate. Your taillight lens is no longer in production and would be very difficult to find a used one in good condition due to the age of your Jayco. You can try a local RV salvage yard to see if...

  • Grounding Peterson Trailer Tail Light Part # V457L to Trailer Frame
The Peterson Trailer Tail Light # V457L that you referenced is designed to ground through the mounting hardware which means that a bolt runs through the base which is attached to the ground circuit of the light and when it contacts the metal frame of your trailer the ground circuit is complete. If you wanted to ground this light with a wire you'd need to run the ground wire to the bolt you use to attach the light between the base and the trailer frame. The white wire on your 7-way wiring...

  • How Should Peterson Combination Tail Lights V457L and V457 Be Wired To Trailer?
Based on the light illuminating and only having the issue once new lights were installed the issue is on the camper side of things and not in your 2005 Chevrolet Colorado. When installing the Peterson Trailer Tail Light # V457L and # V457 you should connect the brown wire on the tail lights to the tail light wire on the trailer (Brown wire on the 4-way you are using to test) and the green wire on the tail light to the yellow/green wire on the trailer (Yellow and green wire on the 4-way...

  • Troubleshooting Turn Signals Not Bright on Popup Camper
Since I'm assuming you just installed the # V457 and # V457L it is unlikely the lights themselves are the problem. It could have to do with the installation.
