Does Roadmaster Charge Kit for Towed Vehicles Require Installing Diode as Well

I understand i think that Roadmaster charge line to battery kit 156-25 model needs a diode to prevent electreical back flow? If so which diode do I need. thanks

If you wanted to prevent the tow vehicle from drawing power from the towed vehicle with the # RM-156-25 in the event the tow vehicle had a lower voltage then yes you would need a diode like the part # RM-690. This normally isn't a problem or concern which is why the kit does not include this. Normally the tow vehicle has the higher voltage since it's running and the alternator is keeping it's electrical system at peak voltage and the towed vehicle being off would always have lower voltage.
