Question:
Id like to confirm that this hitch will work for my 2002 Acura MDX. I was going to pair it with this ball mount Item # C46KR, and this wiring Item # 118424. Id like a hitch that doesnt require any drilling/welding, just one that bolts into existing holes. The Acura specs says its capable of towing 4500 lbs. Ill mostly be hauling firewood. A cord of the wood around here weighs roughly 3000 lbs, and typical 5foot x 9foot trailer weights are in the 1000-1500 lb range. If there are smaller hitches that also work, feel free to suggest them. I see several in the 3500 lb class, but Id rather not push the weight limit so much, especially if I end up getting a bigger trailer down the road and can haul more wood. But I would be open to a 5000-6000 lb hitch.

For your 2002 Acura MDX the highest capacity trailer hitch we offer is the etrailer # e98851 which can tow a trailer up to 3,500 lbs unless you are using a weight distribution system. Then it could tow a trailer up to 5,000 lbs. This hitch does not require any drilling or welding to install as well as it basically just bolts right up. The hitch you referenced does not fit your vehicle as it was designed for a different one. This hitch only has the opening that hangs below the rear bumper so it's mostly hidden as well.
This would also work great with the Curt adjustable ball mount part # C46KR that you referenced and for custom trailer wiring you'd want the part # 118424 and you'd be set.
