How to Trim Down Length of Fan-Tastic Roof Vent Garnish

Question:
what do you recommend using to cut this to fit? the leg length on this is a little too long.

Use masking tape to mark where you want to make your cut on the Garnish part # FVK2040-80 and then use a hand saw to cut along the masking tape.
