The 2000 model year was a split model year for GM trucks. Chevy produced two distinct truck models, the C/K series and the Silverado.

If you have a 2000 Silverado, the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 system you'd already looked at, part # AL57272 would be an excellent choice. An air bag system like this would allow you to fine tune the amount of suspension support to the weight of the load you're towing or hauling. This is a no-drill application.

If your 2000 Chevy truck is a C/K series, you'd use # AL57216. Drilling is required to complete the install.

A compressor system like # AL25856 would allow you to add or remove pressure from the system from the truck cab as you're rolling down the road.
