When you’re towing a heavy trailer or hauling a full bed, rear-end sag can throw off your handling and headlight aim. The LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate air springs add up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity to keep your ride level front to back and side to side. By sharing the weight across all four wheels, they reduce stress on your brakes, tires, and factory suspension, giving you steadier steering and braking when the load gets serious.
The built-in urethane jounce springs inside each air spring smooth out bumps and protect against bottoming out. They engage progressively—the more weight you carry, the stiffer they become—so the ride stays steady without harshness. If air pressure runs low, the jounces act as a backup to temporarily support your suspension until you can adjust or repair it.
Every trip is different, and these springs let you dial in the perfect setup. Adjust air pressure anywhere between 5 psi and 100 psi to match your load—add air for towing or drop pressure when running empty for a softer feel. Manual inflation valves and air lines are included, and a compressor system with in-cab gauges can be added if you want to control pressure on the fly.
Each LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate air spring is made from 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber with high-strength Zytel nylon endcaps that are lighter and more corrosion resistant than steel. Air Lift’s roll plates protect the springs from damage while increasing load capacity, and the urethane internal jounces require no maintenance. These details add up to a suspension upgrade built to handle years of towing and hauling without leaks or failures.
Installing the system is straightforward with the included brackets, hardware, air lines, and manual inflation valves. Mount the springs, hook up the lines, inflate them through easy-access valves—then hit the road with confidence knowing you’ve added serious support in just an afternoon’s work.

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with the internal jounce bumpers for your rear axle. Now, this is a custom-fit part. It is designed to fit the 2021 and newer Ford F-150 Raptor four-wheel drive trucks. And on a custom-fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year, model, vehicle, and it'll show if this will work for the application. Now, this hybrid spring system will combine the adjustability of these air springs with the reliability of the internal jounce style springs that are on the inside.
These air springs reduce the strain on your rear suspension, increase safety, and compensate for any uneven loads. They'll help let you level your vehicle front to back, help maintain safe headlighting, and they'll even adjust independently for side-to-side leveling of any off-center loads. They do improve steering and braking performance. I'm going to zoom in some on those springs. And as we mentioned, on the inside of these air springs, they have a jounce spring that helps improve ride comfort, reduce sway, and help with cornering.
Those jounce springs will engage at lower air pressure to better absorb road shock and minimize bottoming out. And they provide support progressively, which means the more you load the springs, the stiffer they'll become. They'll even let you temporarily carry a load with zero air pressure in these air springs. And the urethane internal jounce requires no maintenance and works well in hot or cold temperature. Now, the air spring cradles right down here, this will let your suspension travel fully without compromising your ride.
Basically right now, you see the air spring will sit in the cradle when it's in use, and then it lifts outta the cradle so the suspension can cycle completely. And then it'll sit back in the cradle when the cycle is complete. Also, what's nice, remove this, and if you look at the bottom, you can see there's drain holes in those cradles. This will clear any water or debris from building up. Now, these are quality construction for a nice, long-lasting spring life.
They are springs that are two-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber air spring, which is durable. They have an adjustable air pressure of five psi to 100 psi. And the end caps on 'em are high-strength Zytel nylon end caps, which make 'em lighter, stronger, and more corrosion-resistant than steel. Now, these are designed for heavy-duty applications, such as 1/2-ton, 3/4-ton, and even one-ton trucks, motor homes, and commercial trucks. As you can see laid out here, everything is included. Mounting brackets, the hardware are all included for installation. Over here they have the manual inflation valves, and the air lines are all included. And these manual valves are typically mounted on your bumper for easy access. We do also offer a compressor system with end cap gauges that can be added to monitor and automatically adjust your air pressure. Those items we do sell separately on our website. These parts are made in the USA. A few specs, again, the load leveling capacity is up to 5,000 pounds. One thing I do wanna mention is that the LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Springs will not increase your vehicle's weight-carrying capacity. So you do wanna make sure not to exceed the manufacturer's recommended weight limit. But that's gonna do it for a look at the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with the internal jounce bumpers.

Product works great and helps level the truck during towing. I have noticed a difference in the amount of travel my back wheels have when offloading. But I knew that would be a sacrifice.

Been great! I really don’t like the internal jounce stops though. When you are unloaded and running lower bag pressure, a dip or bump will hit the bump stops really hard and jar your passengers in the backseat. It’s almost too uncomfortable to ride in the backseat now. As for the loaded and high pressure performance it’s great! Great handling and no sag at all when towing.
