Can Longer Equalizers be Used as Replacements

Question:

My boat trailer currently has equalizers about 6 3/8 center bolt to center bolt. Can I go with the common 7 3/4? Someone has put the wrong size leafs on the rear axle and I’m replacing everything but the brackets mounted to the frame.

Thanks for the photo and yes, you can replace your equalizers with a different size if you are replacing your suspension. For the length you are looking for the equalizer you need is the Curved Equalizer for 1-3/4" Wide Double-Eye Springs - 7-3/4" Long # TREQE1.
