What is the Diameter of the Bars that Fit in the Curt Weight Distribution Head C17075
Updated 07/15/2020 | Published 07/13/2020 >
Question:
Just wondering what size round bars this replacement head is made for? I am replacing an old rusty head with no info on brand or model number on it.

Expert Reply:
The Curt # C17075 is only designed to fit with the spring bars from another Curt Weight Distribution system, which are 1-1/2" diameter. Weight distribution heads and bars are proprietary, so the bars will likely only fit in the heads they're designed for. Because of this, your best bet, if you can't confirm which system you've currently got, is likely going to be to just replace the whole system.
If you can let me know what the tongue weight of your trailer is, I can help you locate an acceptable replacement system.
