Question:
I have a 2017 Heartland trailrunner 25SLE. I went camping last weekend and when I went to dump my tanks I saw that my handle for the waste tank was missing. Which handle kit do you recommend and do I have to have some type of clamp to keep handle from hanging down?

If you're just needing the handle part of your waste valve then you should be able to use either the Replacement Handle for LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valves # 34490CMA1G which uses a screw to install, or the Replacement Handle for Bladex and Valterra Waste Valves # T1003-6MNVP which threads onto the waste valve. If you aren't sure what you have just send me some photos and I can try to help you out.
Since these handles use threads to install you shouldn't have any problems with them coming off even if they are hanging upside down. If you wanted to add something extra to help keep the handle in place then you might consider a little thread locker to help keep it installed.
