Question:

I recently purchased this bike rack along with a Curt trailer hitch part number: C13065. After installing everything I notice that there is a lot of side to side wobbling from the bike rack even when it is not in use. Is there anything that can be done about the wobbling?

The Swagman XTC-2 2-Bike Platform Rack part # S64670 does come with an anti-rattle hitch bolt so there aren't really going to be many other options. I will say that bike racks do have movement, there isn't one that will be perfectly still but when 1-1/4" to 2" adapters are used that's where you will see increased movement. The best option to reduce this movement would be with a stability strap, the Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap for Hitch-Mounted Accessories part # 18050.
