Installation of SolidStep with Threshold Depth Issue

Question:
The threshold on my 2010 Salem TBUD seems to be too wide to accommodate this product. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the photo of your SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for 30" to 36" Wide RV Door Frames - Quad - Aluminum # LC791575 with the threshold. You can see in the attached videos if the threshold were larger you would simply attach to it and if smaller would fit right over it. With yours I recommend trimming that threshold just where the step hinge is for a flush fit. You can use a small cutting wheel on a rotary tool or drill to make it easy after tracing that edge. The aluminum threshold will cut easy.
An alternative option is to use a trim piece to lift that hinge to the same height of the threshold and just secure it as long as your door is able to close with the step height.
