Tekonsha P3 Install on my 2020 Chevrolet Express 3500

Question:

I have a 2020 Chevy Express 3500 passenger van that I want to install the Tekonsha P3 brake controller in. The van has the factory tow package with the 7 and 4 pin connectors. It has a wiring bundle for the brake controller taped under the drivers side carpet. Are these all of the connections required, including the power source for the controller such that no wiring would need to be ran through the firewall? Thanks!

While every situation is different those are the color and size wires that GM uses to wire their brake controller connections. Using these to install your Prodigy P3 part # 90195 will likely result in a successful installation. That hinged on them having pinned the wires correctly which it would appear if they used the upgraded harness they would but I can not guarantee they did. I hope that makes sense.
