Can Lamp-Out Sensor be Used in Place of Furrion Power Adapter for Vision S Camera System

I would like buy the furrion sv5 #F0s05tasf observation camera for my rv. I see there is a problem with reduced 12 volt power to run camera with my 2019 chevy silverado. The furrions harness FR74FR will fix this problem but I have read here that the lamp-out sensor bypass #20142 was suggested. There was no follow up that this does work. Has anyone confirmed it works and is it available? Thank you

We never heard anything back from the person with the answer page that you referenced, however I was able to confirm that they purchased the Connector Adapter w/ Lamp-Out Sensor # 20142 to use with a Vision S like the part # FOS05TASF you're wanting to get. Since that was about 9 months ago I think it's fair to assume that the lamp-out sensor solution is a viable alternative to the Furrion Power Adapter # FR87PR for your 2019 Chevy Silverado.
Another more permanent option would be to splice in the PWM Filter # VGR64VR behind the camera to provide the proper current for the camera.
