Question:

Hello etrailer.com, I have a 2019 VW Atlas, and I am not able to use a Weight Distribution Hitch. However, I would like to add anti-sway. Also, I am interested in the Gen-Y Glyder Hitch. Is there a system you would recommend to get this set up? Can I use the Gen-Y Glyder Hitch with an anti-sway system? I only have a 500lb tongue weight capacity, so I need to keep that in mind too. I am looking into purchasing a travel trailer that would be in the 3000-3500lb dry weight range. Thanks for the help!

While there is no way to attach an anti sway system to the Glyder for Gen-Y part # 325-GH-12005. I do have a solution for you. You can use the Convert-A-Ball Dual-Cushioned, Adjustable Ball Mount part # CAB-UM which isn't as clean looking of a product it is very effective and will accomplish the same goal as it is cushioned. Check out the video on it linked I have linked for you.

To that you can add the Reese Friction Sway Control Kit - Economy part # 83660 and the Reese Sway-Control Bracket part # RP26003.
