Can the Thule Quick Grip Mounts Be Used on a Cascade Roof Box

I noticed another question regarding retrofitting the quickgrip system on an older Thule cargo box you mention it’s possible with some modifications, I have a cascade that I’m hoping to update I’m curious what specific modifications need to be made the the box and in there’s any info on your website that I have missed

Modifying your Thule Cascade box is not something that is recommended because it effects the structural integrity of the box, so the # TH05738 really isn't something that we recommend using to replace the mounting hardware on your box. If you're just in need of replacement mounting hardware for your Cascade box, the Replacement QM3 - Quick Mount Hardware # TH04997 will work for you and allow you to fit the same crossbars as the Quick Grip mounts. It's obviously not as convenient a solution, but it won't require any modifications to the box that would effect the structural integrity of the box.
