Question:

Hello. Do you have any bolt similar to this in dimensions width and thickness but that is longer? This would be for my Thule Cascade box, but it is a bit on the short side. Please let me know if you can. Thanks.

The u-bolt that you are looking for is no-longer available. We have two different options depending on what mounting hardware your Cascade has.

The Replacement EasySnap Mounting Hardware # 05704 if your box has the quick snap hardware or the Replacement QM3 - Quick Mount Hardware # TH04997 if it is not the quick snap. The non-quick snap would be for an older cascade cargo box.

I am in the same situation as Scott. I have cascade and purchased the easysnap because I have no u-bolts. How do I remove the existing hardware? Is there a video of this procedure?

@Trevor Unfortunately Trevor, we do not have a video showing the replacement procedure. Based on the instructions for the quick snap hardware the bolts appear to just unthread from the tightening knobs. It then appears the new clamps will simply fit into place similar to the old clamps. If you require further assistance the experts at Thule may be able to better explain it.
